The GPTA has been urging the management to provide some form of rent rebate. Today it was announced that Gateway will be issuing a one-time rent credit of (5) days to every resident of 375 South End Avenue, the building that lost all services during that week.

In a letter dated November 19th from management: “As our neighborhood recovers from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Gateway Residential Management would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during and after the storm. It was wonderful to see residents helping one another during this time of need. Because of the power loss suffered at 375 South End Avenue, the Landlord will be issuing a one-time rent credit of (5) days to every resident of that building. This credit will be applied to your January Rent bill. Thank you for your extraordinary support.” Greg Tumminia
